Summary

One night, following Connie’s departure, X was attacked and nearly kidnapped. She began experiencing spells of paranoia that the FST had discovered her real identity and was intent on bringing her to justice. X became increasingly social and began accepting work in the production industry. She worked with David Bowie during his Berlin period. When Connie eventually returned to Oleg’s apartment looking for X, he turned her away.

After coming across an old notebook in X’s possessions written entirely in Italian, C.M. decides to travel to the address written in the journal, written under the name “Carla.” After wandering around Milan for some time with little success, C.M. manages to locate a woman mentioned in the journal, Gioia.
