Summary

In Chapter 16, Big Swiss appeared at Greta’s house unannounced. She stood “outside the antechamber” calling Greta’s name (250).

Greta asked if Big Swiss had read her email. She had struggled “to apologize without making excuses” (252). She had said Big Swiss could spank her as punishment. Big Swiss had no interest in Greta’s apologies. Greta insisted she lied for months because of her trauma. Big Swiss disapproved of this logic. She wanted Greta to tell Sabine. Greta wanted Big Swiss to tell Luke. They argued over whose fault it was. Greta felt unwell, confused as to who she was.
