Summary
In Chapter 11, a snowstorm hit in late March. Greta wondered what she was doing in Hudson. She also worried that Sabine had “been evading [her] for over a month” (183).
Meanwhile, Big Swiss visited regularly. She still attended therapy and Greta still transcribed her sessions. However, she “didn’t talk about Greta,” Rebekah, or their affair with Om (184). Greta did not understand her “ability to compartmentalize” (185).
Before sex one day, Big Swiss insisted they take a walk in the woods. Greta disliked the experience and questioned her obsession “with this person” (187).
Big Swiss noticed how Greta changed during sex. Greta confessed she felt like her true self when she was with her. She asked who Big Swiss had told about them, requesting that she conceal her identity from Om as he knew Sabine.
Sabine returned, calling for Greta by her real name. Greta pretended...
