Summary
In Chapter 7, the Friday before Drue’s Saturday wedding, Daphne arrived on Cape Cod. She was shocked by the suite that Drue showed her in the house she called Sea Star. It had a deck and hot tub that adjoined with Drue’s suite. Drue told Daphne she wanted her to be happy and was glad she was there.
In Chapter 8, as Drue and Daphne walked together to the beach for the rehearsal dinner, Daphne was amazed how the sand had been transformed with Persian rugs and bonfires. Drue also pointed out a king-sized bed draped with mosquito netting that was reserved for Drue and Stuart. Daphne noticed a tag announcing the company that had supplied the mattress and linens. Drue indicated that a few suppliers had come to them.
