Summary
While at Auburn University, Edward fell in love with a female student named Sandra Templeton. Sandra was very pretty and was admired by many young men, but she was generally uninterested in dating. At first, Edward contented himself with admiring Sandra from afar. Edward eventually discovered that Sandra had begun dating Don Price, whom Edward recognized as the leader of the group that had stolen the old woman’s eye. Edward decided to ask Sandra on a date.
