Summary

Theo told Robin about a planet called Isola, which was very difficult to find. Robin suggested the planet learned to hide to avoid detection. Theo had lunch with Martin Currier and told him that Robin was extremely depressed about the state of the world. The two men observed the president speaking on television about a lethal form of bacteria that was spreading in Florida. Currier suggested they use Alyssa's ecstasy brain scan during Robin's next neurofeedback training session. When Theo brought this up with Robin, he was elated.

After the session, Robin was even happier, but he could not explain to Theo what it felt like to experience Alyssa's ecstasy. As they drove home, Robin remarked, “Your wife loves you. You know that, right?” (143).
