Summary

Chapter 43

In Chapter 43, Reid describes how much it tortures him to be around Emma and interact with her as he has to for the film. Tadd notices how distressed Reid is and suggests that he admit he was wrong and plead for mercy. Reid refuses, saying that he shouldn’t have to apologize to Emma for something that she believes he did to Brooke without even asking his side of the story. After she is finally home, Emma is glad the last days of filming is over as well. At parting, Reid kisses Emma’s forehead, saying nothing. Graham and Emma take a taxi together to the airport. Although Emma feels it is wrong, she lets Graham walk away from her at the airport without even asking his motivation behind kissing her.
