Chapter 37

In Chapter 37, John tells Reid about photos showing up on the Internet of Graham and Emma running together. That night, Reid asks Emma about the pictures. Reid thinks Emma is playing him and lying when she is surprised that fan sites are saying the two are sleeping together. He decides to drop the questions since he is afraid it will interfere with their plans for sex. Emma is disturbed by Reid’s questioning of her relationship with Graham. Later, Emma sees Reid talking to Graham and motioning to her. In a few minutes, Brooke joins them, and Emma senses the tone of the conversation is antagonistic. Emma suddenly realizes that she doesn’t want Reid to do anything that might make her lose her friendship with Graham. On first instinct, she grabs her phone to call Emily but remembers their fight.
