Chapters 5 and 6 Summary
In Chapter 5, after overhearing Aphrodite and Neferet, Zoey goes on to calss, but her stomach hurts all through her Spanish and equestrian classes. By the end of her equestrian class, her stomach feels better because her horse, Persephone, calms Zoe down. Zoey leaves the stables and walks back to her dorm room through the courtyard where she runs into Nala. Zoey remembers seeing two ghosts in the courtyard, so she tends to avoid walking through the courtyard at night by herself. The first ghost Zoey thinks she saw was a fledgling by the name of Elizabeth that died during the Change. The second was Elliott, another boy that dies during the Change in front of Zoey's lit class. Later that night, Elliott's ghost tried to attack Zoey and the kitten Nala, but Nala protected Zoey and Elliott scaled the wall away...
