Chapter 22 Summary

Eve and Peabody enter the Palace Hotel through the main entrance. They meet Magda and Vince exiting the elevator and ask how Vince is. Vince's family knows that Eve was there when Vince became ill. Magda says that Vince will be unhappy at missing the showing and the auction after all of his hard work. Peabody and Eve go on to Roarke's suite.

Eve finds her team enjoying the banquet and tells them to get to their stations. Eve finds Roarke and tells them that there is too much food and that will affect the performance of her men. They are there to catch Naples but with Vince, Yost and Connelly gone, Eve thinks Naples may abort the mission.

Whitney arrives and informs them that Yost is dead. He cut his throat with a shard from a broken cup while they were checking...
