Chapter 21 Summary

Eve is up early. She needs to talk to her team, Whitney and Stowe, and hopes to have Yost under arrest by noon. Eve had teams staking the salon by nine, with Peabody working as a clerk and McNab inside as a customer. This gives them a chance to talk. At eleven-thirty, they receive word that Yost is approaching the shop. Eve goes outside and sees Jacoby approach Yost, who knocks him down. Yost runs and Eve follows. Eve tackles him as McNab arrives and they cuff him. Eve finds a length of silver wire in his pocket. She says that it's Stowe's bust.

Eve finds Stowe and learns that Jacoby in seriously injured. She tells Stowe that it's her bust and they are waiting for her downtown. After attending to her bloody nose, she stops by the hospital to check on Vince...
