Chapters 12-13 Summary

Eve talks to the homicide detectives in Cornwall. She tells them about the silver wire, and they decide to re-question the hiker who found the bodies. She contacts the London hotels for information. Mick walks into the room and says that his business went well. They tell him that the bodies of his friends, Britt and Joe Hague, were found in Cornwall. Eve asks Mick if he knows who would pay a lot of money to have them killed. Mick says that he doesn't know. They were running liquor.

Roarke and Mick discuss different people in Europe who were engaged in crime and who might have ordered the hit. Mick says he will check around for information. Just then the computer returns the information that Yost lives in a building about four blocks away, a building that is owned by Roarke...
