Chapters 6-7 Summary
On the way out of the house, Eve asks their butler, Summerset, what he thinks about Mick Connelly. He tells her what he knows and that is basically that Mick is loyal to Roarke. She asks him to keep an eye on Roarke and to be sure that he always knows where Roarke is.
Peabody tells Eve that they are narrowing down the sources on the bag and the wire. Looking for information based on two feet of wire, they have located a seller in Manhattan. They have narrowed the information on the suitcase to less than one hundred. They find the sale of a wig on the same day that there was a sale on the bag and the wire.
Two FBI agents arrive at Eve's office. They are interested in the French case since they have been pursuing Yost...
