Appendix A "William Cooper's Military Service Record" Summary and Analysis
Appendix A purports to be reproductions of William Cooper's military service records. The records show military service from 1966 through 1974, noting a unimaginative military career, including service in Viet Nam. Cooper was honorably discharged after a rank reduction for a prolonged period of nonconformance of requirements and "laxity in abeying [sic] commands and regulations" (p. 385), including a consecutive ten days AWOL. Cooper's assignment to 'FAU, CINCPACFLT' ran from January, 1970, through February, 1973. This is the period during which Cooper alleges he held routine access to Secret and Top Secret documents from the Office of Naval Intelligence; the documents would later form the supposed factual basis for Cooper's many allegations of secret governance.
