Summary

The next day, in 2008, the three girls head out again to a beach bar. Evangeline gets drunk even though this is not the norm for her. Joni and Bess do a small amount of cocaine, but Evangeline does not. When Joni returns from the bathroom, she sees her two friends talking and cannot read their expressions. Later Bess asks Evangeline how she feels about college, and she replies that it will be good to meet new people.
