In Chapter 6, the family is in shock and the parents can't believe they let themselves get so careless. They also realize that they have to protect Lucinda somehow. The morning after the party, a limousine arrives with flowers for Lucinda. They are from El Jefe and it makes Lucinda cry. It scares her that she has caught El Jefe's eye.
