“Emma Lightner: July 11, 1990 – August 23, 2015” – The novel shifts back in time. Emma enjoys the traveling her job entails and knows that boundaries are the way to keep professional. She flirts with men on the jet but gently turns down their advances. She has even turned down Kanye West.
