Time Travel

In the novel, time travel symbolizes memory and the reconciliation of regrets. In the novel, there are four major instances in which characters use time travel. Each time, they use time travel in order to gain closure after a traumatic event, such as a death or a break-up. These trips also reflect the characters’ desire to reconcile the flaws and regrets in these relationships.
