Porto Vergogna, Italy

Porto Vergogna is the cliff-side village where Pasquale lives and where his hotel, the Adequate View Hotel, sits. Porto Vergogna is north of the luxurious hotels that exist on the Cinque Terre, the five lands. For this reason, Porto Vergogna rarely receives visitors and most of Pasquale’s customers are the fishermen who live in the village. Dee Moray is sent to Porto Vergogna by Michael Deane because he hopes she will disappear there long enough for him to convince Richard Burton that she is gone for good. Unfortunately, Burton learns the truth and visits Dee there, but Deane eventually wins out by convincing Dee that Burton wants her to abort the baby.
