Ethan Wate

Ethan Wate is a teenager who recently died. Ethan is in the Otherworld when he learns that his death was a mistake and he might have a chance to change it. Ethan takes that chance because he is anxious to be back with the girl he loves. However, to change his fate, Ethan must give the Book of Moons to the Gatekeeper of the Far Keep. To do this, Ethan must contact Lena and place her in mortal danger as she will have to get the book from Abraham Ravenwood.

Ethan trusts Lena and is pleased when the book finally arrives. This is only the beginning, however. Ethan must complete two tasks and battle a council member who has tried to destroy the Mortal world. Ethan succeeds and returns home only to find his surrogate mother has sacrificed herself for him. However, Ethan has finally found peace...
