Chapter 9: Promise

Confused about Abby's relationships with Travis and Parker, Finch questions her, and when he asks about her secret, she confides that she came to Eastern University to escape her past and her father, Mick, who is renowned for gambling, drinking and having a bad temper; Travis is too familiar to what she left behind. Finch believes things will work out. Travis is in a great mood as he escorts Abby to lunch. Parker approaches and leads Abby outside to explain that he feels like he is competing with Travis for her attention and asks for a date once her time is up with Travis.
