Ethan Wate

Ethan Wate was a normal, all-American boy just a few months ago. However, after meeting Lena Duchannes, Ethan has found himself dumped into a world he never knew existed. Lena is part of a family of supernatural beings, casters and Incubuses. Lena herself is supposed to have been Claimed as either a good or evil caster on her birthday, but interference from her mother stopped her Claiming.

Ethan is deeply in love with Lena even though they have only known one another a short time. For this reason, Ethan tries to help Lena through the death of her uncle and the uncertainty of her future. However, when outside forces come between them, Ethan finds himself chasing Lena across the caster world to a place that is not even supposed to exist.
