Summary

In "The Trip," January and Gus are at Pete and Maggie's house on the Fourth of July. Gus refuses to get in the pool because he thinks it is not clean and retreats upstairs. At four o'clock, January goes upstairs to change and get ready to leave because Sonya is coming. She has not seen Gus. After changing, January knocks on different doors to find him. When she finds him, Gus leaves the room before January can get too close to him. She looks at the pictures in the room and sees Gus in photos with Pete and Maggie. On the way home, January and Gus discuss whether or not she is going with him to visit New Eden. January confirms that she is going.
