The Power Of Nature

As Ashley makes her way through the wilderness, she discovers the true power of nature in all its violent beauty. When the novel begins, Ashley is the one amongst her group of friends who is most familiar with nature. She always hiked with her dad as a child because he did not have money for anything else, and she started going to Camp Little Fish when she was ten. While attending camp, Ashley met her favorite camp counselor, Davey Beet, and he taught her all about how to survive in the wild during his classes. However, despite all her preparation, Ashley never understood the true power of nature until she found herself trapped within its grasp.
