Summary

In Chapter 22, Frank wakes Alice up on his birthday. He has driven the car into the garage because it was raining and set it and the Dream House on fire with the Roman candles in the box that Xander had sent him for his birthday. The fire gets put out, but Mimi has to go to the hospital. It turns out that she has finished the book and wants to try and save it. Frank tells her that Alice is also writing a book and she finds out that Alice has been taking notes to send to Isaac. Xander gets in trouble for driving without a license. Later, a delivery comes for Frank and Alice realizes that the code for the gate is Frank’s birthday. She thinks that the book burned in the fire.
