Summary

In Chapter 17, the rains end. Mimi’s mood does not seem to improve with Xander around, and Alice stays away from him. Frank goes back to school. It is not long before the school calls Mimi due to an incident. This time, however, due to the arrival of a new principal, Dr. Matthews, Alice cannot get any information. Even Paula cannot talk to her. Frank cannot go back to school until Dr. Matthews speaks to Mimi. Mimi goes to talk to him and it turns out that Fiona bullied Frank, but the principal holds Mimi responsible because she allows Frank to be a target by the way he dresses. Alice overhears this.
