Chapter Five Summary
At the beginning of chapter five, it is Valentine's Day, and Gordon and Dent are looking for Bruce Wayne at Wayne Manor. Wayne is not home, but Alfred shows the two men inside. Dent asks if Alfred remembers Falcone ever visiting Wayne's father, but Alfred does not respond to the question. Alfred subtly reminds Dent and Gordon that it is Valentine's Day, and the two leave to get gifts for their wives.
At Gotham cemetery, Falcone rests a rose on the grave of his son Alfredo when he is confronted by Batman. Batman tells Falcone that Alfredo's death was part of the price he must pay for being a criminal. This angers Falcone, and he is about to shoot Batman when Catwoman intervenes and takes Falcone's pistol. Batman notes that every time he gets close to Falcone, Catwoman appears and chases...
