Bwwaauk

Bwwaauk is the first hen that Cleveland rescues from a farm, and she is a symbol of the cruelty of the conditions on factory farms, for both Cleveland and the reader. When Cleveland sees how easily she is able to take Bwwaauk and get her to the animal rights organization, she begins visiting farms during the night and taking more and more hens, ultimately leading to the heist.
