Summary

Part IV begins with chapter 69. The temporary security guard at Happy Green Family Farm the night of the heist, Alejandro, tells his story. Several days before, he had seen Annabelle walking around the farm, but recognized her from a family photograph in the office. He assumed she had every right to be there. The night of the heist, she came in and asked for his help getting something out of a closet. When he walked in the closet, two activists pushed him and then locked him inside. After the heist, Alejandro came back night after night, even though there were no hens to guard. One day, two years later, he saw Cleveland and Janey from a distance.
