Chapter 13 Summary

Eva says she's going to go home so he can digest everything. He tells her they can do that together. She says she can see in his eyes that he pities her and doesn't want her anymore. He reveals his erection to her and they have sex. He says he always wants her and that now they need to have sex again so she can show him that she still wants him after losing control on their first round of sex. They have sex again.

Gideon says Eva is brave and a miracle. She says it took a lot of therapy and that there are still triggers that set her off. He says he could have ended them before they began with the way he came onto her. He begs her not to let him ruin what they have. She says she wants...
