Sarrià

Sarrià is the municipality in Barcelona, Spain where the events of "The Giant of Sarrià" are set. Amy lives here by herself. She resides in a small apartment not far from the gift shop she owns and runs. Other than her miserable neighbor, Senyor Artes, Amy likes her home.

Throughout the section, Amy is depicted moving around the streets of her neighborhood. Though she often goes out, she does not often leave Sarrià. She is, therefore, surprised when she visits Abdel's neighborhood for the first time, as the streets and houses are neglected and unkempt.

Amy ultimately leaves Sarrià after she is acquitted in court. She wants to be in a place where no one knows her or her story. Though she has moved, she often returns to the neighborhood in order to visit Baltasar.
