Sam Weinstein

Sam Weinstein is considered the golden boy of Salcombe. He and Jason were best friends since childhood. He is the husband of Jen. Sam contributes to Susan’s death because he goes out in the storm, searching for Jason to kill him because Jason had an affair with Sam’s wife. After Susan fell, Sam climbed down to her and mistakenly determined that she was dead.

Sam caused a scene on the day of the bay picnic when he arrived at the celebration drunk. He announced to the crowd that Rachel told him that his wife was having an affair, but would not tell him with whom she was having the affair. Sam also announced that he had been falsely accused of sexual harassment and was in danger of losing his job.
