Choice

One of the themes throughout Bad Girls of the Bible is choice. Higgs argues that each person has the choice to be a Bad Girl or a Good Girl in their life. The free will that God gave people allows women to choose to act in ways that are Christlike or to act in ways that are not. The choices that a woman makes in her life help determine whether a woman is bad for her lifetime, a season, or just for a moment.

An aspect that comes out of the discussion of choice is that every woman is susceptible to bad moments. Even women who follow Christ and believe in God are tempted.
