Chapter 1, All About Evie Summary and Analysis
Evelyn has always loved her father's garden in Savannah. Her first memories are of being in the garden, and it is her father's pride and joy. Evelyn believes that her father created the garden to please her, even though he gets enjoyment from it too. Flowers and plants are all through the garden and a gazebo is at the center, although Evelyn has never actually seen the gazebo. Evelyn father had asked her to avoid the gazebo. Evelyn loves her father and it is easy to obey him on this. Her father had also told her fiancé Adam to avoid the gazebo too.
