The group arrives in Las Vegas. Parker is still preoccupied with how broke he is, and so when they arrive, he is happy to find slot machines in the lobby. Though the others discourage him from playing, he puts in more and more money, trying to win. He finally does, with his last few dollars, and wins $20,000. Because it is such a large amount, he has to see the attendant. She scans his driver's license and finds out that it's fake. Therefore, he has no claim to the money, as he is not 21 and too young to gamble. Disheartened, he goes with the others.
