Part VII, Section 1, P. 463 to P. 510 Summary

Mixtli and Zyanya return to Tecuantépec in the land of the Cloud People. Beú Ribe is angry that her sister has fallen for Mixtli but finally blesses the marriage. The couple leaves for Tenochtítlan and meet Blood Glutton and Cozcatl, who have been searching for Mixtli. The regrouped party stop at Master Tuxtem's workshop and Mixtli picks up the fine statues and smaller pieces that have been carved out of the fossil bones. Back in Tenochtilan, a war is planned against the Zyu people and Ahúitzotl agrees to sponsor Mixtli's wedding and buy him a house. At the wedding, Mixtli's arch-enemy, Chimáli shows up.
