Mixtli meets one of Nezahualpíli's sons and his first wife, the Lady of Tolan. In his first class on history, Mixtli is corrected concerning his incorrect ideas of the history of his Mexíca people. Mixtli finds out that the Mexíca people were nomads who adopted the civilization of their new neighbors in the Lake region. There is an old abandoned city called Teotihuácan, the Place Where the Gods Gathered, that had been built by a more advanced civilization, the Toltéca. It is said that someday the Toltecs will return.
