Summary

Kyoshi, Jinpa and Rangi head into the palace and meet with Chancellor Darin. The Chancellor explains that the Fire Lord is unavailable at the moment and that Kyoshi will meet with him later. Jinap questions Darin about the palace to give Kyoshi time and space to catch up with Rangi. They enter a room full of huge portraits of the previous Fire Lords hanging on the wall. On the opposite wall hangs portraits of the previous fire Avatars. Kyoshi, fixated by Avatar Szeto’s portrait, asks about him. Chancellor Darin gives a history lesson about Szeto, explaining how he stopped the warring clans through diplomacy. Szeto worked with the Fire Lord’s administration to bring peace. At the end of the tour, Kyoshi asks about a particular type of Fire Nation flowers. Chancellor Darin’s face drops and he ends the tour immediately...
