Chapters 25 - 29. Summary
In Chapter 25, Ellie reaches Will at the bottom of the ravine and finds him lying with his eyes closed. She is close to panicking now as she tries to climb up next to him on the rock. Will opens his eyes and takes of his headphones; he is happy to see Ellie and tells her he knew she would come. He helps her onto the rock and asks her why she is so wet. It hasn't been raining in the ravine. Ellie breaks down when she realizes Will is alive and he pulls her to him and kisses her for a long time. She is thrilled that they are kissing and Will asks her why they haven't done that before. Will tells Ellie he tried to call her, but couldn't get through. He also tells her that he didn't come by...
