Chapters 7 - 13. Summary

In Chapter 7, Ellie is becoming interested in Arthurian legend, much to her chagrin, after reading up on Camelot for her World Literature paper. She is beginning to understand why her parents find the material so interesting. King Arthur was married to Guinevere, but Guinevere was in love with Lancelot even though he was dating the Lady of Shalott, Ellie's namesake. Arthur was killed by his maybe brother, maybe son who eventually married Guinevere himself. To top it all off, a society called the Order of the Bear believes that Arthur will come back to life some day to save the world from another Dark Ages. Ellie makes the track team after school and is sitting talking to Liz, also on the team, when she learns some interesting gossip about Will. His father is rumored to have killed his best friend so...
