Darl - Chapter 27 Summary

Here, Darl is giving his version of the ride near the Tulls' house. Jewel rides up to the Bundrens' wagon and, like he did in the last chapter, Darl finds the sight hilarious. However, farther down the road, Cash says that the coffin is not balanced properly. Darl hears him, but does not worry about it.
