Artemis Fowl

Artemis Fowl is a young Irish boy. Artemis' father was once involved in organized crime; therefore Artemis knows how to commit crimes and run a big business even though he is only fourteen. However, Artemis has recently become friends with a group of fairies and their adventures together have led Artemis to become a much kinder person.

Artemis has become aware of demons who travel unanchored through time. Artemis begins traveling all over the world to see these demons. However, when one of these demons appears at the wrong time and place, Artemis comes to realize that the time spell that keeps the demon island, Hybras, suspended in time is beginning to deteriorate.
