Summary

In Chapter 38, Lila arrives at the funeral home to find Yuki is the only visitor. Yuki had an affair with Derek that was ongoing when Lila returned to town. She knew Derek was still in love with Lila, and that he was furious when Lila only went out with him a few times. Derek had asked Yuki to leave town with him shortly before his death. She had no intention of leaving her husband. Their conversation is interrupted by a phone call from Marcus who says Rosie has been arrested. When Lila arrives at the police station, Marcus says Rosie's knife was the weapon used to kill Mr. Long. Amir is already with Rosie. Rosie was seen at the Long home earlier in the day.
