Chapters 21 and 22 Summary
In chapter twenty-one, the missile passes harmlessly through the helicopter and crashes into the enemy troops. Rayford suggests they go back up and let the enemy forces fire at them again but neither man is actually willing to test God to that point. In Jerusalem, Tsion is being carried along by a wave of people and Buck eventually catches up with him. They find a place to hide and remain there for a short time. Buck asks Tsion how much longer he believes they'll have to hold out. Buck says he wants to be alive when Jesus reappears and Tsion says he wants that as well. There's a lull at both Petra and Jerusalem and Tsion refers to a scripture in which it's prophesied that horses will be confused while riders will be mad and blind. Carpathia issues an offer of...
