Chapters 17 and 18 Summary
In chapter seventeen, One evening Tsion tells Rayford he plans to go to Jerusalem in the final hours before the Glorious Appearing. Tsion says he'll teach those who will do battle in the final days what to expect according to the scripture and that he plans to train as a soldier in preparation for this trip. Ratford is initially opposed, saying it's too dangerous, but gives in and agrees he'll send Buck with Tsion. Tsion predicts one of the next major events will be that the Euphrates River dries up, making it easier for the armies from the east to arrive at the designated meeting place. Tsion predicts the destruction of Babylon will be the next major event followed by the fall of Jerusalem. Tsion says the Glorious Appearing of Christ will be soon after that.
