Chapters 16 and 17 Summary

Chapter 16 -Tropical Storm-

Tamara returns for Alex with some dark combat clothes for both of them. They wait until nightfall then sneak up to the fence. The guard change is about to occur, so their time is now. Alex snoops through the cabins until he finds what he is looking for, the guard locker room. Alex dumps a bottle of mosquito lotion on the clothes. This is no ordinary mosquito lotion. Instead of repelling bugs, it attracts them in droves. The guards arrive and change clothes, and sure enough, the bugs come. The three guards are overwhelmed with insects and abandon their posts. Alex and Tamara sneak past the checkpoint just as a ship is arriving.

Tamara trips, but Alex catches her. They hide near a wall and watch as the members of Force Three get off the boat and are...
