Chapters 14 and 15 Summary
Chapter 14 -Flamingo Bay-
Upon arriving at Flamingo Bay, Alex can tell that things are not going to go as Joe Byrne promised. They land a seaplane and ride in an electric buggy to a security checkpoint. There are guards armed with submachine guns, and according to the security chief, razor wire in the water surrounding the island. The launch site is impressive, and Drevin explains to Alex and Paul exactly what will happen, and how, in the next few days.
Alex and Paul go kite surfing, which Alex really enjoys. After surfing for a while, the boys head off to the house for dinner. Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, a different conversation is happening. Magnus Payne, the security chief, has told Drevin that Alex Rider is an agent for MI6. He says that he might not be working...
