Summary

According to Chapters 200 to 209, when Bassam was six, he saw his first helicopter flying above the hills of Hebron, where he and his family lived in a cave like many other farmers. In one cave, he and his friends found the grenades and rifle they used for their assault when they were seventeen, during which he was caught by Israeli soldiers, beaten, and thrown in jail. When he was younger, Bassam would do things on the playground to taunt the Israeli soldiers and watch as they reacted. He has many memories that connect his childhood and his prison experience. Chapters 210 through 213 remind that Rami has many memories come back, too; he remembers many brutal moments in conflicts during his time in the Israeli military.
