Summary

The Prophet sits in a holding cell at the El Paso Homeland Security office. A woman enters and begins interviewing the Prophet, who attempts to explain hyperobjects to her. She ignores this and begins asking the Prophet about his childhood, revealing that she knows his father killed his mother and he fled. The Prophet addresses the agent, Nancy, by name, which throws her for a moment before she begins asking about Story Nadir. The Prophet insists that she was not kidnapped and that his accomplices are all of the world’s children. He tells Nancy that there was a fifth child with them at the Wizard’s compound that she is not accounting for.
