Summary

In Chapter 16, Rhiannon meets up with her friend Preston after school the next day. Preston says that everyone knows Rhiannon met with an unknown boy in an empty classroom the previous day. Rhiannon pretends that the boy was a prospective student. Rhiannon asks Preston if being attracted to a certain type is real. Preston explains that he knows he is only attracted to guys and he would not be able to change his or anyone else’s sexuality.

The next day at school, in Chapter 17, Justin is upset with Rhiannon for not spending any time with him. Rhiannon feels uncomfortable around Justin all day.
